My wife and I are new pastors in the Nazarene Church. We just formed a small group that we hope will grow to be a church someday. Opportunities to access these courses make a big difference to us, and hence to the people we reach. In order to share the gospel and teach about Jesus in my country’s context, it helps to be knowledgeable about the biblical context and to be familiar with academic approaches to teaching the scriptures. I feel that my preaching needs to be informed by rigorous study of scripture, philosophy, and history. Watching Prof. N.T. Wright’s lectures has been such a refreshing blessing.

The ministry of Prof. N T Wright has been a very great blessing to me and to my family and students. My area has been subject to severe attacks in the past few years. The community has been deeply wounded and traumatized. I have seen people in serious need of grace to forgive and the comfort to generate peace. I saw a devotional message uploaded to the N.T. Wright Online YouTube channel. It spoke deep life and comfort to me. I shared with my students and challenged them on how Nigerians need to return to the Lord with all our hearts. The presence of God is the solution to our loneliness, fear, and resentment. Religion is too often a threat to our unity instead of being the beauty of our existence.
